It is God’s desire to connect with you! If you are ready to connect to Him, the Bible says you must repent (turn away and ask forgiveness of your sins), believe in Jesus as the Son of God who takes away your sins, and trust Him to save you from your sins and Hell.
So, right now, admit to God that you have sinned against Him and deserve judgment. Ask Him to forgive you. And then trust in Jesus Christ to save you. If you just prayed that prayer, that’s it! You are saved! The next step is baptism, which is a witness and testimony to the world that you have decided to be a follower of Jesus.
